The Course

New in 2007, this USATF certified 5K course winds and rolls through the new urbanist communities of Kentlands and Lakelands of Gaithersburg, giving participants the chance to experience the unique design of these award-winning neighborhoods. Modest hills make the course more challenging, but not difficult for novice runners and walkers, and the area's top runners will vie for new course records. The course will also feature live entertainment and two (2) water stops this year!

Please note: The new course map designates areas where Kentlands residents, Lakelands residents and guests will not be able to park on race day, August 30th, 2008. Please see the Race Course Map for parking restrictions. Cars left on the course after 6 am on race Day will be towed at the owner's expense.
