KIDS T-SHIRT DESIGN  CONTEST 

WINNING DESIGN GOES ON RACE T-SHIRT! 

Kids up to age 11 are invited to send in a drawing for an art contest sponsored by the  Kentlands Community Foundation. The winning design will go on the T-shirt for the  Kentlands/Lakelands Kids Fun Run. The winning artist will receive a $35 gift card and  a shirt with their design. Race day is Saturday, September 3, 2022. 

You do not have to live in Kentlands or Lakelands to enter.  

Contest Instructions
We are looking for designs that show: how running or walking in the Race is healthy for  people and good for our community spirit. For example, pictures showing the diversity  of runners & walkers, exercise is good for you, or walking is better than driving are great  ideas. 

Drawings must be in marker (up to 3 deep, bright colors, not including black) on 8 ½ X  11-inch white paper.  

The drawings should not have any commercial logos or company names. Any drawings  that contain a company name or logo will not be considered. For example, the word  “Nike” or its trademarked “Swoosh” cannot be used. 

Drawings can be emailed to: kentlands@kentlands.org  OR you may drop off your  designs in the Kentlands Community Foundation’s mailbox outside the Kentlands  Carriage House (321 Kent Square Rd). All drawings must be received by July 1st. All  entries must have the artists’ name, parents’ or guardians’ name, and phone number and  email address attached. The winner will be announced before the race.

Note: All designs become the property of the Kentlands Community Foundation and will not be returned. Winner  will be presented the prize at the Race Expo on Race Day, but need not be present to win.
